Workshops
My work as an Artist Educator gives me the opportunity to not only create art, but also expand my practice towards others. Through the master “International Master Artist Educator” I have deepened my passion for Socially Engaged Art, for creating together and to connect through art.
One part of my practice is creating workshops, this can be workshops regarding learning certain techniques, like felting, but these workshops can also address various (social) issues, and work with them with a group of people.
I believe that art can open up conversations and that art can be a bridge between various people, cultures and languages.
Workshop "Van Rommel Tot Trommel" - Muzehof eindvoorstelling "Koning van Katoren" 2026 - Zutphen
Tijdens de eindvoorstelling van het Muzecollectief en de Muzehof "Koning van Katoren", heb ik een workshop verzorgd voor de jongere kinderen van het gezelschap. Backstage hebben we muziekinstrumenten gemaakt van "afval" en hebben we daar muziek mee gemaakt om zo de "Vogels van Decibel" te verdrijven zoals Stach ook deed in het boek "Koning van Katoren".
(ENG) During the final performance of "Koning van Katoren" (King of Katoren) by the Muzecollectief and Muzehof, I created and executed a workshop for the younger children in the cast. Backstage, we created musical instruments out of 'waste' materials and used them to make music—driving away the "Birds of Decibel," just as Stach did in the book.
